So, you might have noticed that I haven’t been around for a while. It’s only been a couple months, but it seems like forever at this point. I feel at once the strange urge to apologize, and on the other hand, to offer a lengthy explication of my absence.
Suffice it to say, nothing bad took me away from blogging. Actually, a great opportunity presented itself: the chance to write and practice SEO full time. For that I’ve been extremely grateful, even though it has meant that some things I really love, like blogging on my own blog, fell by the wayside.
However, even with all the writing I’ve been doing, I missed my own blog, my own space to write about whatever I wanted to and what I (and hopefully others) might be interested in. So, the good news is, I’m back. I love writing and communicating and conversing with the community I’ve gotten to know since I started, and I’m not going to give that up.
Yet I also feel like I’m not in the same place that I was when I started Adam Bowers Media. I’ve let some conversations get away from me and have become interested in others. All that is to say that my writing might take some different directions in the future than it has in the past. Again, that’s not a bad thing – it’s being able to write and think about a variety of topics that are related to what I’ve done in the past but might seem quite different.
I’ve really appreciated the opportunity to be a part of wonderful conversations, and hope I’ve contributed to them. But I won’t have any hard feelings going forward if the conversations I pick up on don’t interest you. I hope to write in such a way that even topics that might not interest you at first glace draw you in.
I appreciate every one of my readers, and welcome everyone’s comments. I hope I won’t be away so long again.
